Hesed & Emet is an independent media contents studio based in Yongin, Gyeonggi-do. We design and publish mobile applications for reading, study and daily meditation — built around clarity, calm typography and responsible use of AI.
The company name comes from two Hebrew words — hesed (steadfast kindness) and emet (truth). They describe how we want to build: carefully, honestly, and for the long term. We create original digital contents and distribute them directly to readers through mobile app stores and online channels.
We write, edit and structure long-form reading contents — introductions, commentary and daily devotion material — as original works produced in-house.
We build the software our contents live in: native Android applications engineered for smooth, distraction-free reading on modern high-refresh displays.
We publish and sell our products directly to end users through app marketplaces and internet-based electronic commerce.
Our first product is a mobile Bible reading application for Korean readers. It replaces the usual three-step shelf → book → chapter navigation with a single chapter switcher, moves every control into one-handed reach, and places short AI-assisted notes inline beneath each verse so the reader never has to leave the text.
A single chapter switcher replaces layered navigation, so a reader reaches any chapter in one motion.
The same passage can be read in a classic translation, in plain spoken Korean, or in a gentle tone written for children.
One or two lines of context appear directly under a verse — no pop-ups, no second app, no broken reading flow.
Each chapter carries prepared reflection questions and a prayer, prepared ahead of time rather than generated on demand.
